Clinical and Sports Psychologist

Born and raised in Marin and San Francisco, I grew up with the California coastline beckoning me to an athletic lifestyle from a young age. As a multi-sport athlete, I lived and breathed the chaotic student-athlete grind of year-round training, striving for athletic and academic performance and the persistent feeling of “too much to do, too little time.”

The athletic lessons of perseverance, drive, tenacity, and integrity were channeled into my higher education and adult athletic endeavors. I firmly believe in the saying “once an athlete, always an athlete.”

My athletic career was successful but riddled with constant levels of extreme pressure to succeed and perform while suffering from years of the cycle of pain, injury and rehabilitation.

I understand the unique needs of athletes and top performers, I really do get it! Beyond my experience as a Division 1 athlete, I have extensive educational and clinical training in sports psychology. This enables me to provide patients with collaborative and specialized treatment aimed at helping them live a more balanced and fulfilling life while reaching peak performance.

As a licensed clinical and sports psychologist, the biggest therapeutic tool is comfort and rapport between provider and patient. As an advocate for social justice, equity and allyship, I provide a safe space for athletes to be their true selves. The work encompasses honest attention to the systemic and cultural factors that impact one’s experience. I stand against all “-isms!”

Align was developed as a sports and performance practice dedicated to providing you with expert psychological care that understands athletics, pressure, and peak performance. When we have the courage to look honestly at our experiences, we then have the power to change. Finding Alignment in our lives leads to confidence, growth, and development.
