Having been an athlete most of my life, I have a personal passion for and deep understanding of sports and performance-related challenges. Whether it’s managing anxiety, overcoming negative self-talk, recovering from injuries, or improving focus, I take a strengths-based approach to building a mental game that enhances physical performance. Sports can provide immense fulfillment, but they also come with unique pressures and competition that require emotional awareness and mental fortitude. I provide practical tools and therapeutic support to foster sustainable, long-term success.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Film & Media Studies from Whitman College before pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. After co-founding a non-profit and working with high-level performers such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, and Reese Witherspoon in talent management, I developed a strong ability to support individuals at the peak of their careers. This experience inspired me to change my own career path to psychology, with the goal of helping individuals improve their lives. I earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, and became a licensed psychotherapist in California.

I have worked in a variety of clinical settings and currently serve as a licensed sports and performance therapist for Division I athletes at the University of San Francisco. Previously, I worked at Mission High School as a therapist with RAMS, where I provided in-person counseling services to high-risk adolescents and collaborated closely with the athletic department to support student-athletes, teams, and coaches. I also trained with sports psychologist Dr. Sari Shepphird in a sports psychology consultation group and was mentored by Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) Michael Gerson. Additionally, I expanded my scope of practice by working with adults experiencing severe mental illnesses at UCSF Citywide, which allows me to treat athletes of any age and experience level.

I am trained in performance psychology, trauma-focused empirical treatments, psychodynamic approaches, and crisis management—all of which lead to measurable results on the field or court. My clients face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or identity-related issues, which can hinder growth, diminish enjoyment in playing, and contribute to disordered eating or exercise habits. Through individualized therapy sessions, I help individuals identify their goals, develop skills to address their specific challenges, and create strategies to manage stress effectively.

I am an intuitive, action-oriented therapist driven to help people feel and perform their best!
